Web Hosting Solutions Provider Hostway Unveils Fax Over E-mail
Hostway Corporation, a Chicago, Illinois-based Web host, has launched Fax over E-mail.
The solution lets customers send, receive and store faxes using an e-mail account rather than a traditional fax machine. Using the solution can help to increase productivity and save space. It also eliminates the cost of fax machine maintenance. It assigns a phone number to each plan, which can be accessed by multiple users.
Users can produce a fax by either scanning any document or transmit virtually any document created on their computer, including PDF, TIFF, MSWord and text documents, directly.
“Our solution lets customers send and receive faxes from any e-mail-enabled device, anywhere in the world,” John Enright, Hostway’s vice president of marketing and business development, said in a statement issued to the press. “Fax over E-mail is more flexible, cost effective and convenient than a physical fax machine, and it’s perfect for today’s fast-paced, mobile-centric business professional.”
